Teacher-led small group tutoring for Medway's young learners
Strive Tuition prepares children in Year 5 for the Medway Test with weekly maths, English and reasoning sessions in small groups.
Sessions are led by qualified, experienced teachers, the same standard of teaching families know from our camps and PE sessions.
Alongside the weekly programme there are holiday workshops at Easter and in the summer, and mock exams in August so children walk into the real test knowing what to expect.
How it works
Small groups
No more than eight children per group, so every child gets proper attention.
Weekly in term time
One-hour sessions each week, with homework marked and returned with feedback.
Qualified teachers
Delivered by experienced, DBS-checked teachers who know the Medway Test inside out.
What the sessions cover
Maths
Covers the full Medway Test maths content with regular practice and progress checks.
English
Reading, comprehension and writing skills built week by week.
Reasoning
Verbal and non-verbal reasoning woven into every week of the programme.
